Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff available to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments or complicated contracts.
We are FLEXIBLE and offer Early morning, Lunch time and Evening lessons for homeschoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals.
As a full service music school, Denville Music Academy offers lessons as early as 10:00 a.m. and as late as 8:30 p.m. Take advantage of our convenient online and in person lesson schedule. We will arrange a time that works for YOU!

Lesson Prices
Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduled once a week
- $44 / 30-minute lessons
- $61 / 45-minute lessons
- $76 / 60-minute lessons
Group Class Rates
Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduled once a week
- Class of two students: $50 per student for a 1-hour class
- Groups of three students: $43 per student for a 1-hour class
- Rock band classes are available to currently enrolled students who are taking private lessons in their specific instrument. The cost is $30 per student for a 1-hour class.

Performance preparation
Our dedicated teachers provide personalized coaching for auditions, performances, and school entrance examinations. Whether you’re preparing for a recital, competition, or admission audition, we’ll help you build confidence, refine your technique, and perform at your best. We teach students to enjoy the experience of performing, and step onto the stage feeling prepared and proud.
Music Recitals
Each spring and winter, our students have the opportunity to perform in our music recitals. Participation is completely optional, but many students—both children and adults—look forward to showcasing what they’ve learned in a fun and supportive environment.
For parents, recitals are one of the best ways to see their child’s progress firsthand. Watching your child perform demonstrates the skills, confidence, and musical growth they’ve developed through their lessons, making it easy to see the value of your investment. For younger students especially, performing helps build confidence, encourages goal setting, and creates a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
In addition to our seasonal recitals, we offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year. Students may perform at events hosted at our school as well as at select off-site community venues, giving them additional chances to gain experience and enjoy sharing their music with others
