Our guitar lessons focus on getting you to quickly be able to play your favorite songs or compositions! The guitar instructors at Denville Music Academy are all experienced teachers and performers and can help you with any music style that you are interested in learning.
Taking guitar lessons with an instructor is the quickest way to learn proper techniques, theory, and also can help prevent bad habits from developing. Having a guitar instructor is beneficial in that they can show you in "real time" how a song, lead lick or scale should be played; as other methods of learning can't see if you are playing something correctly or not!
In addition to playing, you will even be taught how this instrument actually works! Learn the different parts of the guitar, the fretboard and the names of all the strings and how they’re supposed to sounds well as how to change the strings and tune your guitar.
Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff available to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.
