A WELCOMING AND CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT
Denville Music Academy is founded and run by musicians with a passion for inspiring students to learn and grow. We know that choosing someone to educate your child is major decision and appreciate the trust each of our students and parents have in us! From the creative side - such as our special projects, advanced classes and fun activities for kids - to the nuts and bolts of smooth, professional communication with our office, we know the importance of making our students and families feel good about all aspects of their lesson experience.
Our instructors are dedicated teachers with extensive experience and education. We focus on the specific needs and interests of each student while making sure all the important skills are covered. With multiple teachers for guitar, piano, voice, drums, bass, ukulele, violin, clarinet, flute and our other instruments, students can find the best personality match for them!
Flexible Lesson Times
Denville Music Academy offers lessons from lunch time through late evening and on weekends to fit your busy schedule. We are also happy to arrange morning lessons as requested for home-schoolers, retirees and working professionals.
Visit our testimonial page to see what our students are saying. Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s closed. The Academy has a proven track record of offering quality piano, guitar, voice, singing and drum lessons in Denville, New Jersey year round. Our full-time mission is teaching music lessons with more than 400 over families served for over seven years.
Opportunities for Advanced Study
Interested students have the chance to study at advanced levels, strengthen college applications and even earn AP college credit through their studies at Denville Music Academy. Our expert faculty can prepare students for progressive examinations through The Royal Conservatory of Music, Trinity College of Music and ABRSM. Students who progress sufficiently in these programs - which cover theory and performance - are prepared to pass the national Advanced Placement (AP) test at their high school (without needing to complete their high school’s AP Music Theory class) and receive college credit.
Free recitals at excellent venues
All Denville Music Academy students have the opportunity - if they wish - to perform at least twice each year, giving parents, siblings, relatives, and friends the chance to enjoy the progress they have made. We use the best spaces available in our area with excellent pianos and an enjoyable atmosphere. All of our recitals are photographed professionally with the images made available to parents.
Every Spring and Fall we host a free picture day with professional photographers. Students love the photo shoot and parents love getting professional quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the shoot and wear whatever they like.
