Strings lessons at Denville Music Academy reflect our commitment to keeping students fully engaged while presenting all the essential elements of musical success. Our experienced and dedicated teachers work with student on their favorite songs and styles of music - from pop and rock to jazz and classical - while presenting new ideas and covering all the important knowledge and skills along the way. Strings students at DMA can also join jazz, pop, and rock bands as well as chamber ensembles and perform at our recitals and other events in our area.
Our faculty members have received graduate and undergraduate degrees at institutions including Manhattan School of Music, Eastman School of Music, Berklee School of Music, University of Miami, and William Paterson University including the world-renowned WPU jazz department. We are professional performers who seek to communicate our love of music to every one of our students. We know the benefits of music for students who have big musical goals and for those who simply want to relax and enjoy their voice or instrument for fun.
Students at DMA have the opportunity to perform - if they wish - in two recitals each year held in excellent area performance spaces. We also arrange public performances at local events such as the annual Rotary Club Street Fair in Downtown Denville and collaborations with nearby schools.
Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff available to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.
