Woodwind lessons at Denville Music Academy reflect our commitment to keeping students fully engaged while presenting all the essential elements of musical success. For all woodwind instruments, we teach a mixture of methods with emphasis on reading music, handling and care of the instrument and learning a repertoire appealing to the student. Woodwind students at DMA can also join jazz, pop, and rock bands as well as chamber ensembles and perform at our recitals and other events in our area.
Our faculty members have received graduate and undergraduate degrees at institutions including Manhattan School of Music, Eastman School of Music, Berklee School of Music, University of Miami, and William Paterson University including the world-renowned WPU jazz department.
Our experienced and dedicated teachers incorporate school students' band and orchestra repertoire while presenting new ideas and covering all the important knowledge and skills along the way.
